Access, one of the largest non-profit initiatives of its kind in Greater Cincinnati, was focused on connecting young professionals with one another and the community to help the city attract and retain this critical demographic. It was funded by a charitable foundation whose intention was to wind it down once the program had achieved critical mass.
Our team crafted the organization’s brand strategy, developed a complete identity system, managed all their social media, digital marketing and design projects and oversaw their programming and strategic direction, resulting in tens of thousands of touches, meaningful interactions and lasting relationships.
Our challenge was to engage large numbers of millennials with the brand when competition for their time and attention was especially fierce. Keeping in mind the sometimes fickle nature of our audience, and the rapidly changing technology and trends, we achieved highly effective brand recognition by being unpredictable and pushing the boundaries. It wasn’t just about trying to stay on top of the trends… it was about constantly striving to stay ahead of them.
“Every piece of marketing that this team put out was relevant and clever and did an amazing job of engaging our hard to reach 20 and 30 something audience,” says Jordan Edelheit, former Director of Access. “I credit their work for the record-breaking turnouts we had at nearly every program and event we put on! While Access is no longer in operation, its lasting impact still lives on in a big way in our city!”
